The experience
The catamaran departs from Castellammare del Golfo and heads into the Zingaro Reserve, where the coastline opens into coves and sea caves. You stop four times during the tour to swim and snorkel. Masks and fins are provided, so you bring nothing but yourself. The boat is new, Blue Marine 2026, with wide shaded areas, a bathroom, and oversized ladder steps to climb back aboard after each water stop.
Between swims, the guide points out the Scopello Faraglioni, the dramatic rock stacks that rise from the water, and talks through what you're seeing as the boat moves along the reserve. The pace is built around the water: you're in and out, then moving to the next bay. Onboard, there's a non-alcoholic open bar, cold drinks, seasonal fruit, and Sicilian cassatelle, ricotta-filled pastries, plus Zibibbo wine from Marsala. The whole experience runs four hours.
Lifebuoys are available for both adults and children, and the boat is wheelchair accessible. The tour operates with a live guide who speaks English and Italian, so instructions and commentary come in your language. If the minimum group size isn't reached, the operator runs the tour on a different boat but keeps the same itinerary and services.

Live guide in English and Italian.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 4 years); Infant (under 3): free.

What exactly do I do during the four bathing stops?
You swim and snorkel in each bay using the masks and fins the boat provides. The guide leads you to the best spots and you spend time in the water before returning to the catamaran and moving to the next cove.
Is the Zingaro Reserve itself something I walk through, or do I only see it from the water?
You experience the Zingaro Reserve from the water: the catamaran sails past its coastline, coves and caves, so you see the reserve's landscape and swim in its bays, but the tour does not include a land-based hike through the reserve itself.
What's included in the food and drinks aboard?
The boat offers a non-alcoholic open bar with cold drinks, seasonal fresh fruit, Sicilian cassatelle pastries filled with ricotta, and Zibibbo wine from Marsala. All are included in the tour price.

Masks and fins are provided free as part of the tour, so you don't need to bring or rent your own equipment.
