Walk Ravello's hilltop streets and reach two legendary villas in one morning

A 3-hour walking tour of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast led by a local guide in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian, visiting the Cathedral, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, with limoncello tasting if available. The guide speaks your language and children from age 3 are welcome; you arrange your own transport to the meeting point.

The Experience

Ravello sits 350 meters above the Amalfi Coast, and the walk starts in town before climbing to the two villas that define the place. Your guide is local, which means the route skips the usual tourist bottlenecks and moves through the Cathedral and the main streets on the way to Villa Cimbrone first, then Villa Rufolo. The total distance is about 4 to 5 kilometers—roughly 3 miles—spread across the morning, with the villas themselves as the centerpiece of the day.

Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are the landmarks most people come to Ravello for, and both sit at the edge of the cliffs with views that stretch across the entire coast. The guide shows you how to read the landscape from up there, and if the Limoncello Factory is open that day, you'll stop for a tasting. Walking poles are available if you ask in advance, and the guide collects a few group photos along the way.

This is a shared group tour, so you'll walk with other travelers. Children from age 3 can join, and infants can ride in a stroller or sit on a parent's lap. You'll need to arrange your own way to the starting point—public transport runs nearby—and the villas' entrance fees are separate from the tour price.

What’s included
