Step-by-step itinerary

- Explore Juliet’s Courtyard and bronze statue
- View the iconic balcony
- Listen to self-guided audio tour
- Optionally visit Teatro Nuovo theatre
The experience
Juliet's House sits in Verona's historic center, and the fast-track ticket gets you past the line at the door. Once inside, you download the audio guide app using a QR code before you arrive, then move through the rooms and courtyard on your own schedule. The app plays stories about the Cappelletti family, the medieval architecture, the art and costumes on display, and the connection to Shakespeare's play: all without a guide walking beside you.
The courtyard is where most visitors spend time, standing in front of the bronze Juliet statue. If you add the balcony option, you can step out onto the famous ledge where Romeo supposedly declared himself. Teatro Nuovo, Verona's second-largest theatre, opened in 1846 and sits nearby. You can add entry to it at checkout and explore its neoclassical interior after Juliet's House, or skip it entirely. The whole visit runs about two hours if you move through both sites without lingering.
Exchange your voucher for an official ticket at the Verona Luggage Room on Via Stella before heading to the house. Public transport reaches the area easily, and the site works for any fitness level. Bring your own phone or device to run the audio app. A headset is useful but not provided.

Is this one for you?The self-guided audio tour and fast-track entry work well if you want to move through the house at your own pace and skip the queue, rather than following a guide on a fixed schedule. Choose the balcony option if seeing the famous ledge matters to you. Skip it if the courtyard and the interior are enough.
