Dolphin watching tour from Golfo Aranci: bottlenose dolphins
Spot playful bottlenose dolphins drawn by the fish farm near Figarolo Island
A dolphin watching boat tour departing from Golfo Aranci in Sardinia that navigates the waters between Capo Figari and the island of Figarolo, where bottlenose dolphins have lived for over a decade. A guide in your language explains the dolphins' behavior and habits as the boat approaches the fish farm that draws them to feed. The tour runs 90 minutes and includes mineral water and iced tea on board.
The Experience
The boat leaves from Baia Aranzos beach and reaches Figarolo island in about five minutes of navigation. For more than ten years, a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins has occupied these waters between Capo Figari and Golfo Aranci. Near Figarolo sits a fish farm where sea bass and sea bream are bred in large cages—the presence of that food source keeps dolphins returning to the area, which is why spotting chances are high when you sail near the island and the plant.
A guide on board speaks English, Spanish, Italian or French and walks you through what you're seeing: the dolphins' characteristics, their feeding patterns, how they move through the water. The whole tour lasts 90 minutes. You get mineral water and iced tea while you watch.
What’s included
- Live guide in English, Spanish, Italian or French.
- mineral water and iced tea on board.
- 90-minute boat tour navigating the waters where bottlenose dolphins feed year-round.

The boat reaches Figarolo island in about five minutes from Baia Aranzos beach, then spends the remaining time navigating near the island and fish farm where the dolphins are feeding.
