The experience

For more than ten years, a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins has occupied these waters between Capo Figari and Golfo Aranci. Near Figarolo sits a fish farm where sea bass and sea bream are bred in large cages: the presence of that food source keeps dolphins returning to the area, which is why spotting chances are high when you sail near the island and the plant.

A guide on board speaks English, Spanish, Italian or French and walks you through what you're seeing: the dolphins' characteristics, their feeding patterns, how they move through the water. The whole tour lasts 90 minutes. You get mineral water and iced tea while you watch.
