The experience

You skip the line at the Uffizi entrance with a timed ticket already in hand, then walk straight into one of the world's most crowded museums with a guide who knows which room holds what story. After the guided tour ends, the museum is yours to wander. You can linger in front of a painting for twenty minutes or skip ahead to the rooms that pulled you in. The Uffizi is enormous and you've only covered the highlights with your guide, so the free time lets you double back or find something unexpected. If you choose the upgrade, you don't return to the street between galleries: your guide walks you to the Accademia, sharing stories about Florence along the way, and you step inside to stand in front of Michelangelo's David. That 1-hour guided portion at the Accademia focuses on the sculpture itself: how it was carved, what Michelangelo saw in the marble, why it matters. Then you have time to explore the Accademia's other works before you leave.

The Uffizi Gallery admission (up to €29 per adult) and the timed entry reservation are included in the price. If you add the Accademia, that admission (€20) and its reservation fee (€4) are included too. Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport. Your name on the ticket must match your ID exactly, and the galleries will refuse entry if it doesn't. Children under 18 enter free. EU citizens aged 18–25 pay a reduced rate. Public transport runs near both museums, so you can reach them without a car.
