"Most people stand in front of it for thirty seconds," our guide told us before we even entered the Accademia Gallery. "But Michelangelo carved this to be seen from below, from the piazza. The proportions only make sense when you know that." That's the difference between a timed-entry ticket and a real tour of Florence's most famous sculpture. The Uffizi entry fee is included if you choose that option — €29 for adults, reduced rates for EU citizens aged 18–25, free for under-18s — and from January 2027, the walk between the two galleries becomes part of the tour itself, no break in between. You'll need to bring a valid ID or passport; names at booking must match exactly or entry gets refused. Public transport is nearby if you need it, and the tour works for any fitness level.
