The experience

The boat leaves Marsala marina at 9am with croissants and coffee on board. After roughly an hour of sailing, you reach Favignana and drop anchor at either Cala Azzurra or Cala Rossa for about 40 minutes of swimming and snorkeling in clear water: snorkeling kits are free and available on board. The equipment stays with you for the rest of the day. You bring nothing but a swimsuit.

Next is a one-hour stop at Favignana's port to walk the fishing village on your own. Lunch arrives on board around 1:30pm: pasta with seafood or vegetable couscous, eggplant caponata, seafood salad, local cheese, olives and seasonal fruit, with wine and soft drinks throughout the day. After eating, the boat heads to Levanzo for a slow pass in front of its small harbor and a second snorkeling stop in either Cala Fredda or Cala Minnola. A final swim and snorkel follows at another bay on Favignana (either Cala Rossa again or Bue Marino) before the return sail to Marsala, arriving around 5:30pm.

The guide is live and speaks English, Italian or French. Children travel free in strollers, and the boat suits all fitness levels. Water is free all day. Wine and soft drinks come with meals.
