E-bike tour with food and wine tasting

  • Stop in sea villages and learn history
  • Stop at main square and panoramic terrace
  • Visit winery for food and wine tasting

The experience

You start in Marcelli and ride uphill through wooded routes toward the summit of Conero Mountain, stopping in the sea villages of Numana and Sirolo to hear about their history and take in the panoramic terraces overlooking the coast. The e-bike motor handles the steep sections, so the climbing is manageable even if you don't cycle regularly. From there the route descends toward Portonovo on the water's edge, where the landscape shifts from mountain forest to rocky shoreline.

The winery stop is the centerpiece: you'll taste local wines paired with food in the main square, which itself overlooks a panoramic terrace. This is where the ride slows down and the region's wine traditions become the focus. The tour leader handles all the commentary about the Conero area's history and the wines you're tasting, so you're not navigating or deciding where to go next.

Everything you need to ride is provided: the e-bike itself, helmet and water bottle. The minimum group size is three people, so you'll have at least a small group around you. Bring your own shoes and clothes suited to riding and the weather. A bike computer is available on some departures if you want to track distance and speed.
