The day starts at Sorrento's Marina Piccola, where your guide meets you for a fast ferry crossing to Capri. Once on the island, a minibus carries you along the Mamma Mia Road—the winding coastal route famous from the film—to reach the Blue Grotto. Entry depends on sea conditions and tides; when the grotto is accessible, you board a small boat that threads through the narrow entrance to see the cave's iridescent blue glow. If weather closes the grotto, the tour pivots to a shared boat tour of Capri's other sea caves and the Faraglioni rock formations instead.

After Capri, a jetfoil takes you to Positano, the Amalfi Coast's most photographed town. You have free time to walk its steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes, descend the long staircases toward Spiaggia Grande beach, and move at your own pace through the village. There is no set itinerary here—the time is yours to explore.

When you're ready to leave Positano, your English-speaking driver picks you up in a comfortable Mercedes van for the drive back to your Sorrento hotel. The entire day runs 8 hours.
