Snorkeling in Karimunjawa: 2 islands, 2 reef spots
You'll see turtles if the reef decides to show them.
Private snorkeling and island hopping in Karimunjawa takes you to two different reefs and two islands in a single day, departing from the harbour at 8:30 a.m. The boat, snorkeling gear, lunch and an English-speaking guide are included. An underwater camera captures the reef life and you download the photos after. The full day runs about eight hours and ends with the sunset on the return to harbour.

The experience
The day starts at the harbour around 8:30 a.m., and the boat heads straight to the first snorkeling spot. You'll have snorkeling equipment and a guide in the water with you, looking for the reef fish and coral formations. After the first reef, the boat takes you to the first island, where you can walk the white sand beach or rest while the crew prepares lunch: barbecued fish with vegetables, rice and fresh fruit salad. If you have dietary needs, let the operator know when you book.
After lunch comes the second snorkeling spot, where the corals shift color and the fish density picks up. Turtles show up sometimes, though not on every departure. Then you'll have time on the second island to explore, photograph, swim or simply sit. The return journey catches the sunset over the water before heading back to the harbour.
Throughout the day, an underwater camera documents what you see on the reef. You download the photos after the tour ends. The entire experience is private (just your group, the guide and the boat), and the guide speaks English. Availability depends on sea conditions and weather, so the operator will contact you after booking to confirm the date.
