The first major stop is Kawah Putih, a crater lake ringed in sulfur deposits that turn the water pale blue. You walk down into the crater itself to get closer to the water, take photos and smell the geothermal activity up close.

After the crater, you move to a natural hot spring area where you can swim in the warm geothermal pools and soak in water that locals say is good for skin. The itinerary also includes a tea plantation walk: about an hour to explore the rows, learn how tea is processed, and stop at scenic spots for photos.
