The experience
One hour in the water is what you get, plus the 25-minute drive to the shop and time to change into beachwear and run through a snorkeling safety briefing. The shop sits close to Guam's pristine reefs, and once you arrive you'll have access to changing rooms, showers and a safety vest if you need one. The guide handles the route based on your group's level: shallow reef areas for families and first-time snorkelers, or deeper dropoffs up to 18 meters if you're freediving.
Groups stay small (no more than six people per tour), so you're not fighting a crowd to see the marine life. The reef itself is the draw: tropical fish in their natural habitat and Green Sea Turtles are common sights. The operator provides mask, snorkel, boots and a safety vest. You just show up ready to get in the water. A professional guide who speaks English or Japanese leads the tour and shows you where to look.
