The experience
The catamaran leaves Kolymvari Port in the morning with espresso, tea and a nutritionist-designed light breakfast bowl waiting on deck. You settle into sun or shade while the boat sails to the Agioi Theodoroi Islands, a cluster of bays known for water so clear that snorkeling and fishing both work from the same anchorage. The crew handles all the setup (snorkeling masks and fins, SUP boards, fishing rods, noodles and the pink flamingo float), so you walk on board and straight into the water without arranging or carrying anything.
Once anchored, the water is yours to move through however you want. Snorkel with the provided high-quality gear, paddle a SUP board across the bay, cast a fishing line with the complete set on board, or float and photograph yourself on the inflatable. The crew stays on the catamaran preparing lunch from fresh local ingredients sourced from a Cretan farm, so the smell of cooking drifts across the water while you're still in it. A main course, dessert, water, soft drinks, Greek beer and Cretan white wine come from the open bar. Children get a special menu option. After eating, most people return to the water or stay on deck under the shaded lounges.
The boat carries life jackets, an onboard toilet and outdoor shower, Wi-Fi and music. A professional English-speaking crew manages safety and the open bar. Liability insurance is included. If you're booking a private morning or afternoon cruise, or one of the shared departures with optional hotel transfers from Kissamos, Chania or Souda, confirm your pickup location at checkout: transfers can also be arranged on request if your hotel is not in those towns.

Is this one for you?The catamaran anchors in one bay for the full morning or afternoon, so you spend five hours in the same clear water rather than moving between multiple snorkeling sites. This setup works best if you want to settle into one place, try several activities without rushing, and eat a full meal cooked on board, not if you're looking to visit multiple islands or cover distance along the coast.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Infant (under 10).
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the water like at the Agioi Theodoroi Islands?
The bay where the catamaran anchors has crystal-clear water shallow enough for snorkeling and fishing from the same spot. Visibility is good for seeing fish and the seafloor, and the water is calm enough that paddling a SUP board and floating on the flamingo are both comfortable activities.
Do I need snorkeling experience to join?
No. The crew provides high-quality masks and fins, and snorkeling in the bay is straightforward. You're in shallow, protected water with the boat nearby. The experience suits all physical fitness levels, and the crew speaks English and manages safety throughout the day.
What happens if I don't want to snorkel?
Snorkeling is one of several water activities available. You can paddle a SUP board, fish with the provided gear, float on the inflatable flamingo, or stay on deck in the sun or shade. The crew sets everything up, so you choose what appeals to you once you're on board.
Is lunch included, and does it work for dietary needs?
Yes. A freshly-cooked Mediterranean lunch with a main course and dessert is included, prepared on board with fresh local organic ingredients. Children get a special menu option. The meals are designed by a professional nutritionist, and the open bar includes water, soft drinks, Greek beer and Cretan white wine.
How do I get to Kolymvari Port, and can the catamaran pick me up from my hotel?
The catamaran departs from Kolymvari Port. Hotel transfers are available from Kissamos, Chania and Souda on certain options. Confirm your location at checkout. Transfers from other hotels can be arranged on request. Public transportation options are available near the port if you prefer to make your own way.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen and personal care items. These are not provided on board, though a branded DanEri towel can be purchased for €10 if you need one. Life jackets, snorkeling gear, SUP boards, noodles and the flamingo float are all supplied. The crew provides espresso, tea, breakfast, lunch and drinks.
