The experience
The boat leaves for Mamma Mia Chapel first, where you climb 220 steps to reach the church on the rock and see the view across the Aegean. From there the route moves to Skopelos town, where the narrow streets and traditional stone buildings show the island's architecture without the crowds of the main harbor. The real draw comes next: Amarantos, a cove the operator calls their paradise, where the water is deep enough to jump in and the beach stays quiet because few boats find it.
After Amarantos, the boat heads to Panormos, a natural gulf that stays calm even in wind, then to a small island with a cave you can swim into. Kastani Beach, also known as Mamma Mia Beach, is the last major stop: the film location with the green-blue water and the sand the operator emphasizes. Lunch happens at a seafood taverna between swims, with fresh fish, shrimp, lobster and sea urchins from the catch of the day. Snorkeling gear is on board for every stop.
The guide speaks English, Spanish or Greek throughout, so the commentary matches your language. Children from age 1 are welcome, and the boat accommodates strollers if you're traveling with infants. Drinks and bottled water come with the tour. You choose what to order for lunch at the taverna.
