Step-by-step itinerary

Ios Bar Crawl Experience

• Meet at Life is a Beach Party HQ
• Pre-drinks event at LIABP HQ
• Visit Alt Bar for novelty shots
• Go to Circus Bar for live music
• Enjoy Silent disco at Shush Bar
• VIP entry to Disco 69 nightclub
• After-club at Sweet Irish Dream

The experience

You meet at Life is a Beach Party HQ on the main street of Chora at 23:00 each night, where you get a jagerbomb to start. From there the crawl moves through five venues in the village: Alt Bar (Escobar), which runs novelty shots and buckets; Circus Bar, run by Australian musicians with live music and a shot challenge; Shush Bar, the island's only silent disco where you pick from three music channels on headphones and try the rave juice; Disco 69, one of the biggest clubs in the village on the top square; and finally Sweet Irish Dream, the after-club where you skip the queue with VIP entry before 3am and can stay until close or sunrise. A guide in English leads the group through each stop.

The four-hour crawl is built around drinking and dancing, not sightseeing. Each bar has its own draw (live music at one, a silent disco at another, a nightclub in the middle), so the night does not repeat itself. You arrive at each venue with VIP entry already arranged, which means no waiting at the door, and you get a shot on arrival at all five stops. The after-club is the longest stop, and it is where most people stay until the sun comes up.

Top questions

What happens at Shush Bar on this crawl?

Shush Bar is the only silent disco on Ios, and you choose between three different music channels on wireless headphones. The venue fills up most nights in summer, and the crawl includes a shot and the house drink called rave juice.

Do I need to pay extra at each bar, or is everything included?

VIP entry to all five venues and one shot at each stop are included in the crawl price. You pay separately for any additional drinks beyond the included shots.

What time does the crawl end?

The crawl runs roughly four hours from the 23:00 start, but the final stop at Sweet Irish Dream stays open until close or sunrise, so you can stay as long as you want at the after-club.

Is there a pre-party before the crawl starts?

Yes, the crawl begins with an exclusive pre-drink ticketed event at Life is a Beach Party HQ on the main street of Chora, where you get a jagerbomb on arrival before moving to the first bar.

What is Disco 69 like?

Disco 69 is one of the biggest nightclubs in the village, located on the top square. It draws an international crowd and combines live music with drinks for dancing. VIP entry is included in the crawl.

Can I skip bars or leave early if I want to?

The crawl is designed as a five-venue route with a guide, so the experience works best if you stay for all stops. You can always leave at any point, but the VIP entry and shot at each venue are part of what you have booked.
