A private boat means you anchor where the group decides, not where the schedule demands.

A full-day private sailing cruise around Thassos departs from Limenas or Limenaria port and follows the northwest or southeast coast, with stops for swimming at Giola (a natural rock pool), Arsanas beach, Livadi bay and Aliki. The yacht carries snorkeling equipment, breakfast items and coffee. Lunch is prepared on board by the crew. A live guide speaks English, Greek or Serbian.

The experience

The boat leaves from either Limenas or Limenaria (whichever has availability that day), and heads toward Salonikios cape for the first swim and coffee break. On the way you pass the island of Panagia, and the skipper watches for seagulls, cormorants diving in the small green bays, and occasionally dolphins. The route then sails past Giola, a natural pool formation carved into the rocks, before anchoring at Arsanas beach and Livadi bay, where the water is turquoise and the crew prepares an appetizer if you want one (extra charge).

The second half of the day heads toward the southeastern coast and Aliki, where the crew serves lunch on board: either a sandwich with wine or a full Greek menu with salad and beer or wine (both extra). If time allows on the return, there's one more swim in Agia Anna bay before sailing back to port. Snorkeling equipment is provided, and a SUP board is available if you want to paddle out from the anchored yacht.

The yacht is a HANSE 418 sailing yacht when available, or a similar model. A live guide in English, Greek or Serbian is on board, and pickup from your accommodation is included. Breakfast, coffee, tea and snacks are part of the cruise. Any meals beyond the included items and alcoholic drinks are charged separately.

Is this one for you? This is a private yacht, so the skipper adjusts the route and timing to what your group wants. You're not locked into a fixed schedule with other passengers. Choose it if you want to linger at one bay longer, skip a stop, or time the day around your own pace rather than a group's.
