Catamaran cruise with swimming and sightseeing

  • Visit historic island of Delos
  • Swim in crystal clear waters of Rhenia
  • Relax on the boat by the sea

The experience

The boat leaves Mykonos carrying a small group to two stops: the archaeological site of Delos, where you step ashore to walk the ancient ruins, and then Rhenia, where the water is clear enough to see the seabed. Most of the day happens in and around that water. You swim, use the snorkelling equipment if you want it, or float on a noodle or paddle-board while the crew prepares lunch below deck.

The meal comes onboard, cooked fresh from local ingredients as the boat sits anchored. After eating, you have the afternoon to swim again, lie on deck, or watch the water. The open bar runs the whole time: beer, wine, soft drinks and water, no limits. Towels are provided. A live guide in English narrates the route and the history of Delos if you want to listen, or you can tune it out and just float.

The cruise runs five hours total. You can book a daytime departure or a sunset one. Both end with the same stops and the same food, just at different times of day. Pickup from your Mykonos hotel is included, so you don't arrange transport to the port.

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What is there to do on Delos when the boat stops there?

Delos is an archaeological site, so you walk the ancient ruins and structures on the island. The guide will explain what you're seeing, but the stop is short. Most of the day is spent swimming and relaxing on the boat.

Can I snorkel, or is it just swimming?

Snorkelling equipment is included, along with noodles and a paddle-board, so you can choose how to spend time in the water. The crew brings all of it aboard, and you use what suits you.

Is the meal a sit-down lunch, or do I eat whenever I want?

The crew prepares a complete meal onboard with fresh local products and serves it while the boat is anchored. You eat on deck or below, and it's part of the five-hour schedule, not a rushed stop.

What's included in the open bar?

Beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water are unlimited throughout the cruise. The bar runs the whole five hours, whether you book a day or sunset departure.

Do I need to bring anything, or is everything provided?

Towels and snorkelling equipment are provided. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat if you want them, and wear swimwear under your clothes so you're ready to swim as soon as the boat anchors.
