You'll see all six monasteries from the outside and step inside three of them: the Monastery of Saint Nicholas of Anapafsas (the first you encounter), the Roussanou Monastery on its steep vertical cliff, and either the Great Meteoron, Varlaam, Holy Trinity or Saint Stephen's depending on the route.

The guide also shows you the other side of Meteora: the ancient Chapel of Doupiani and the St. George "Mandilas" cave, sites most travelers don't find on their own.
