The Experience

You board at Gouvia Marina and sail northeast along the Corfu coastline. The first stop is Barbati Beach, where the water is clear enough to see the bottom — you get 25 minutes to snorkel, swim or dive from the boat deck. Then the yacht continues up the coast to Gialiskari Beach, the main stop, where you stay for roughly an hour. This is where the day opens up: you can snorkel as deep as you want, swim in the shallows, or jump from the rocks if cliff diving appeals to you. The skipper serves refreshments, bottled water, sandwiches, chips and seasonal fruit while you're in the water or resting on deck.

On the way back to Gouvia, you stop at the blue cave. The name comes from the way sunlight bounces off the water inside and reflects a brilliant blue onto the rocks above. You have time to paddle in and explore it, and if you're still keen on diving, there are more cliff spots in this area. Then it's the sail back to the marina, where the trip ends.

A live skipper leads the tour in English, German or Greek. The boat has a restroom on board. Public transport runs near the marina if you need it to get there. Children from age 4 are welcome, and infants can sit on an adult's lap. No experience is required — the tour suits all fitness levels, and the snorkeling gear and boat are your base for the whole day.
