The Experience

First thing I noticed was the smell of salt — not sharp, just there in the air as we stepped onto the boat at Corfu’s old port. Our skipper, Spiros, waved us over like we were old friends. We drifted past the Old Fortress, which honestly looks even more dramatic from the water than it does up close. The city behind it kind of glowed in that weird morning light — I tried to take a photo but mostly just ended up squinting at the glare.
