The experience
Bonifacio's limestone cliffs and the Lavezzi Islands sit in turquoise water that stays shallow enough to see the seabed. Your skipper navigates to secluded coves and caves you'd never reach on foot, anchoring so you can slip into the water without a crowd. The snorkeling gear is on board (mask, fins and snorkel), so you arrive ready to go. Swim from the boat, explore the rock formations underwater, or wade ashore on a beach only your group will occupy that afternoon.
The four-hour window is yours to shape. Some groups anchor at one cove for most of the day. Others ask the skipper to move between three or four spots, staying thirty minutes at each. You decide how long to stay in the water and when to climb back on deck to dry off and drink. Soda and bottled water are included. On the return to Bonifacio, you sit on the bridge or below deck as the coast slides past.
The boat is 100% private: no other passengers, no fixed itinerary, no schedule pressure. Families with small children can bring a stroller. The boat is wheelchair accessible at the dock. If you're not comfortable in deep water, your skipper knows the shallows where you can stand and still see fish and rock.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I choose which coves to visit, or does the skipper decide?
You and your skipper decide together. Tell them what you want to see (sea caves, a particular beach, the deepest snorkeling spots), and they'll plot the route. If you'd rather not plan, they'll show you the local treasures they know best.
What's included in the snorkeling gear, and do I need to bring anything?
Mask, fins and snorkel are on the boat and ready to use. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel. The boat does not supply towels. Water shoes help on rocky entries.
How deep is the water where we'll snorkel?
The Lavezzi Islands and surrounding coves have shallow turquoise water where you can see the bottom in most spots. Your skipper knows where to anchor so you can stand if you want to, and where the water deepens for swimmers who prefer it.
Is four hours enough time, or does it feel rushed?
Four hours gives you time to snorkel at two or three locations without hurrying. Most groups spend an hour or more at their favorite spot, then move if they want variety. You're not on a schedule, so you set the pace.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
The skipper monitors conditions and will adjust the route or return early if the sea gets rough. Bonifacio's harbor is close, so you're never far from shelter.
