The experience
You visit Château Tour Baladoz first, where the cellar runs on methods that have barely changed in generations. Then you move to Château La Croizille, where stainless steel tanks and digital monitoring handle the same work. The contrast is the point: you see how the same grapes and the same Saint-Émilion terroir move through two entirely different approaches, and you taste the result of each one. The estates sit on the slopes above the village, so the views frame the whole hour.
The tasting itself is commented: the guide walks you through what you're drinking, what to look for, how the cellar work shaped what's in the glass. This is open to anyone, whether you've tasted wine before or never have. Three wines, poured at both estates, give you a real sense of what the region makes. If a bottle catches you, you can buy it on the spot and have it shipped to most countries.
