The experience

You meet your guide near the Promenade des Anglais in central Nice, where a 15-minute training session gets you comfortable on the Segway before the route begins. Once you're steady, you roll along the waterfront promenade, passing the boutiques and cafes of downtown Nice, then head east onto the coastal road. The Port of Nice opens up as you glide over gently rolling terrain, the Mediterranean on one side and the Baie des Anges visible across the water.

The ride carries you nine miles to Villefranche-sur-Mer, a waterfront town where you get free time to photograph the harbor and grab a snack at one of the outdoor cafes if you want one. On the return, you climb Mont Boron for views back across the bay before rolling back to the Promenade des Anglais where you started. Your guide offers historical details and personal insights throughout and can photograph you during breaks.
