The meal lasts around three hours and accommodates groups from two people. Live music and chef cooking begin at six and eight guests respectively. Children from age one are welcome, and the experience is wheelchair accessible.

The experience

You arrive at Chateau Barbeyrolles or Domaine de la Madrague to find a table set in the middle of vineyards, gardens, or near the beach: the exact location shifts with the season and the day. A chef is there to cook your meal from scratch at the table, turning the preparation itself into part of the event. Wine from the estate is presented and tasted as courses arrive, and if your group reaches eight people, a musician plays live among the vines and garden sounds.

The meal runs about three hours, built around what the chef decides to make that day rather than a fixed menu. Depending on the date, the château hosts art exhibitions, fashion presentations, or other installations around the grounds, so the setting itself changes. Groups can be as small as two, though the live chef cooking and music kick in at six and eight guests: smaller parties still get the table in the vineyard and the wine service, just without those elements.

Both lunch and dinner are available depending on the day you book. You choose which at checkout. The experience is open to children from age one onward, and the grounds are wheelchair accessible. Wine tasting requires guests to be 18 or older.
