The experience
Eight hours gives you time to move slowly between the spots most day-trippers miss. The boat leaves St-Tropez harbor and heads first to Billionaires Bay, where you can swim, snorkel or paddleboard while the captain shares the history of the Citadelle de Saint-Tropez visible from the water. From there the route opens to the quieter anchorages: Cap Taillat's Blue Lagoon, where the water turns turquoise and the cliffs rise untouched; L'Escalet, a narrow cove with a rocky beach and no road access; Cap Camarat, where the coastline turns dramatic and steep. The boat carries snorkeling gear and a paddleboard, so you're not watching the water. You're in it.
Pampelonne Plage sits in the middle of the day, and you can choose whether to anchor offshore and swim to the beach or skip it entirely. The Pershing 40 is built for this: a galley below deck, a bathroom, a master cabin, and enough sun pads and dining space topside that you're not crowded. The captain speaks English and knows the coast well enough to read the conditions and adjust the stops if the wind shifts. Bottled water, soda, snacks and ice are on board. You bring lunch or arrange it separately.
The boat holds your group alone: no strangers, no fixed schedule beyond the eight-hour window, no stops you didn't choose. That privacy is what makes the smaller anchorages work: you're not anchoring where the tour boats queue.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I swim and snorkel at every stop on the yacht charter?
Swimming and snorkeling are possible at most stops, including Billionaires Bay, Cap Taillat and L'Escalet, where the water is calm and clear. Snorkeling equipment is provided on board. Pampelonne Plage is a beach stop where you can swim to shore or stay aboard, and Cap Camarat is better for viewing the dramatic cliffs than for extended water time, though swimming is an option there too.
What is Cap Taillat like, and why is it hard to reach by car?
Cap Taillat is a secluded headland on the Riviera coast accessible only by a long hiking trail or by boat. The Blue Lagoon there is surrounded by untouched cliffs and turquoise water, making it one of the quietest spots along the coast. Arriving by yacht means you skip the hike and anchor directly in the cove.
Is the Pershing 40 comfortable for a full day on the water?
The 43ft Pershing 40 has a spacious galley, a bathroom, a master cabin below deck, and generous sun pads and dining areas on the exterior. There is a Bluetooth sound system for entertainment. The boat is designed for comfort and leisure, not speed, so the day is relaxed rather than rushed.
Does the charter include food, or do I need to bring my own lunch?
Bottled water, soda and snacks are included on board. Lunch is not included, so you can bring your own, arrange catering in advance, or anchor at Pampelonne Plage and order from one of the beach clubs there.
How does pickup work if I'm staying in St-Tropez but don't have a car?
Pickup is included in the charter price. The boat departs from St-Tropez harbor, and the captain will arrange the meeting point with you before the day. If you're staying in town, the harbor is walkable or a short taxi ride from most hotels.
What happens if the weather turns bad during the eight hours?
The captain monitors conditions throughout the day and can adjust the route or the stops if the wind or sea state changes. The boat has a cabin below deck where you can shelter if needed, and the eight-hour window gives flexibility to move between protected anchorages.
