The experience

Seventy-five minutes inside the Château de Cognac means you move through the building itself: a historic monument and active Maison de Cognac at once. The guide walks you through the cellars built into the château's stone, where you see how Baron Otard cognac is made and stored. This is not a museum display. The production happens here, and the tour shows you the real process rather than a recreation of it.

At the end, you taste two cognacs: VSOP D'Ussé and XO Gold Baron Otard. The tasting happens in the cellars, so you're standing where the spirit has been aging. The tour operates in English or French depending on which option you choose at checkout.
