The experience

The boat leaves Kanavaranta 4 at Cafe Marina Bay and heads into the Helsinki archipelago to see the sights of the first experience (Suomenlinna, Löyly, and ice breakers) before stopping at Vallisaari. The island was closed to the public until recently. Now the walking paths are marked with information signs so you can explore on your own pace. Nature has been remarkably well preserved on these city oases, and cafés dot the route if you want to rest.

You get a full hour to walk Vallisaari's grounds. The boat provides all the gear you'll need: whole body suits, jackets, life vests, and speed goggles, so there's no separate equipment to arrange. A live guide in English narrates the cruise portion and explains what you're seeing as the boat moves through the water.

What’s included
