The experience
The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a short drive to the marina in Hurghada. Once onboard the yacht, you get a briefing, then sail out across the Red Sea. Your first stop is Orange Bay in the Giftun Islands, where you have a full hour to swim, photograph the beach, or simply sit in the sand. The water is clear and shallow enough to wade in without gear.
Next comes Abu Minqar Island, also called Maldives Island for its turquoise lagoon and white sand. You get forty minutes there. Then the boat moves to Shaab reef for the guided snorkeling portion. A professional guide leads you into the water for forty minutes to swim above the coral and watch the Red Sea's fish and reef life. Mask, fins and life jacket are provided. The guide stays with the group the whole time. Back onboard, a buffet lunch appears: shrimp, soup, chicken, fish, baked potatoes, rice, six types of salad, and seasonal fruit, plus unlimited soft drinks and hot drinks. A DJ plays music while you eat and the boat cruises toward your final stop.
Magawish Island is the last island, and you have a full hour there to swim, snorkel on your own if you want, or rest on the beach. As the sun starts to lower, the yacht heads back to the marina, and you're transferred to your hotel. Bring a towel. The boat provides everything else for the water.

Is this one for you?Book this if you want to snorkel a real reef and still have time on three different islands in one day. The eight-hour window is what fits all three stops plus the guided dive without rushing any of them. The yacht keeps the group together between islands, so you're not managing separate transport.
