The experience

The microbus collects you from your hotel in the early morning and drives to the boat. Once aboard, you head to Dolphinhouse, the site known for hosting dolphins. The operator rates the chance of seeing them at around 90%. The boat carries you out to two or three separate reefs where you enter the water with snorkeling equipment to explore the Red Sea's underwater life and coral formations.

Lunch happens during the excursion, and the boat supplies hot and cold drinks throughout the day. Banana boats and sofa boats are available depending on the weather that morning, so the exact setup shifts with conditions. The whole outing runs about eight hours from pickup to return.
