The evening starts with pickup from your Aswan hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. You arrive at Philae Temple as darkness falls, and the show begins with narrated storytelling about the Goddess Isis and God Osiris: the deities whose legends shaped this place. Lights and projections sweep across the temple's stone surfaces, revealing its form and scale in ways daylight does not. The narration moves through the temple's actual history too: how the site flooded for six months every year until the 1960s, when an entire restoration program relocated the temple stone by stone to higher ground where it stands now.

After the multimedia presentation, you walk through the illuminated temple itself.
