The Experience

The day starts with pickup at your hotel inside Hurghada or at the Marina Entrance, depending on where you're staying. Your guide meets you there and takes you to the speedboat. Once aboard, you have water and snacks available for the whole trip—no need to pack or plan a lunch stop. The boat heads out to Abu Munar Island first, known for its distinctive Red Sea character, where you get a sense of the coastline and the islands scattered across the water.

After Abu Munar, the boat stops for snorkeling. You put on the provided equipment and drop into the water to see the coral reefs and the fish living in them. The underwater landscape changes depending on where the guide takes you, but the reef structure and marine life are what draw people to this part of the Red Sea. Once you've had time in the water, you head to the dolphin zone. Here you have two choices: stay on board and watch them play in the waves from the deck, or get in the water and swim alongside them. Dolphins are unpredictable, so the experience varies—sometimes they come close, sometimes they stay at a distance—but the possibility of being in the water with them is what makes this tour different from a standard reef snorkel.

The return journey takes you back to the marina or your hotel, whichever is your meeting point. The whole outing runs four hours from start to finish.
