The experience

Saqqara comes first. You stand before the Step Pyramid of Djoser and walk through ancient tombs where your guide decodes hieroglyphs most tourists never see. Then the route moves to Giza, where all three pyramids (Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure) come into view.
