Step-by-step itinerary
Photography tour at Giza Pyramids
- Meet photographer at Giza Pyramids entrance
- Photograph Great Pyramid of King Cheops
- Visit panoramic viewpoint of three pyramids
- Optional camel or horse photo session
- Photograph near the Great Sphinx
The experience
You arrive at the Giza Pyramids complex or your hotel and meet your professional photographer, who brings their own camera and knows the best angles for each landmark. The session starts at the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, where you'll get guidance on posing and framing: close-ups that show the scale of the stone blocks, wide shots that place you against the monument. The photographer handles the technical side. You focus on the moment.
Next is the panoramic viewpoint, the spot where all three pyramids line up in a single frame. This is where cinematic desert shots happen, and the photographer will suggest angles and compositions that turn a standard tourist photo into something you'd frame at home. If you want it, there's an optional add-on to pose with a camel or horse for desert-style portraits. The tour ends near the Great Sphinx for final shots with the monument as your backdrop.
Within 3–5 days, you get your full collection: 40–60 RAW files straight from the camera, plus 10–15 professionally edited versions ready to share. Private transportation is included, as is one bottle of water per person. Pickup happens from the Giza Pyramids area or downtown Cairo, and the same point is your drop-off.
