The experience

The tour starts with hotel pickup in Cairo or Giza, where your guide meets you holding a company sign. A private air-conditioned car takes you to the Nile for the felucca ride: a traditional wooden sailing boat that lets you see the river and the city's landmarks from the water. The sail lasts about an hour, and the boat can switch to a motorboat if wind or air conditions don't favor sailing, at no extra cost.

After the felucca, you board the dinner cruise boat for roughly two hours on the water.
