The experience

A representative meets you at your Sharm el Sheikh hotel and transfers you to the airport for a flight to Cairo. Once you land, another representative greets you and takes you to meet your Egyptologist guide, who leads the rest of the day. The Giza plateau holds four structures: the Great Pyramid of Khufu (also called Cheops), the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus and the valley temple of Khafren, all built nearly 5,000 years ago. You'll see the Great Sphinx at the same complex.

After Giza, you move to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which holds more than 150,000 artifacts spanning thousands of years. The collection is considered the largest and most precious of Egyptian art in the world, and includes the treasures of Tutankhamun. Lunch is provided during the day. At the end, you're transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Sharm el Sheikh, where a final transfer takes you to your hotel.
