The experience

The boat leaves Cap Cana Marina and heads to Sanctuary Reef, where the water stays shallow enough to see the marine life without depth. You snorkel here first, then the captain navigates the boat toward Juanillo's Beach and anchors at the natural pool: a sandbar that forms in the shallows. The whole trip runs four hours from the marina.

A captain is with you the whole time and speaks English or Spanish. The boat carries a maximum of five people per booking, so the group stays small. Snorkel equipment is provided. Bring your own alcohol if you want it, or buy drinks and snacks at the Marina Minimarket and restaurants before you leave. Water, sodas and ice are on board.
