The experience
The zipline course is the centerpiece: six lines strung across the park, ending with the Mega Splash Cable that drops you into a pool. Before that comes the buggy ride on an exclusive island route through an abandoned mine, then a horseback tour along scenic trails where you move at a pace that lets you take in the surroundings. The Cenote Blue Lagoon sits surrounded by vegetation, and the Jungle River ride (a float past cascading curtains and a cavern) wraps up the physical part of the day.
You'll need closed sports shoes for the activities and a bathing suit. The park provides lockers for personal items during the circuits (small additional cost). Bilingual staff handle the training and safety briefing before each activity. Lunch is a typical Dominican meal served partway through. Drinks are separate. Round-trip shared bus transport from your hotel to Bavaro Adventure Park is included, and you can choose your vehicle option at checkout (single, double, triple or quadruple car), which affects how many people ride together on the buggy portion.
The minimum height requirement across zipline, buggy and horseback activities is 1.30 meters (about 4'3"). The maximum weight for zipline and horseback is 130 kilograms (280 lb). Drivers must be at least 18 with a valid license. Infants cannot participate in the buggy tour due to security policies.
Is this one for you?Choose the buggy size that matches your group at checkout: the vehicle option affects only the buggy ride itself, while all other activities (zipline, horseback, cenote, jungle river) run the same way regardless of which you pick.
