Clip in and launch across 18 platforms suspended over the forest canopy.

Zipline Adventure from La Romana is a 6-hour activity where you clip into double-cable lines and traverse 18 platforms through the Punta Cana forest, with the longest cable running 800 meters. The course includes 12 separate ziplines, safety equipment, a guide in your language, water and hotel pickup. Not suitable for pregnant travelers or those with spinal injuries; maximum weight 285 lbs, maximum waist 44 inches.

The Experience

You start the day with pickup from your La Romana hotel and transport to the course in the Punta Cana forest. Once there, guides fit you with climbing gear and attach you to the double cables — the setup that makes this the only zipline in the Dominican Republic with side-by-side lines. The course spans 18 platforms, and you move between them on 12 separate cables, the longest stretching 800 meters across the canopy. The double-line system means maximum safety as you move from one platform to the next.

The 6-hour experience includes water stations throughout the course and guides who speak English, Spanish, Italian or French depending on your group. You'll need at least a moderate level of physical fitness to complete the full run — the cables demand grip strength and the platforms require climbing between them. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The weight limit is 285 lbs and the waist measurement cannot exceed 44 inches due to the harness sizing.
