By mid-morning you're on Umbrella Street, which is exactly what it sounds like—a narrow colonial lane with colorful umbrellas strung overhead, and it's genuinely good for photographs without feeling staged. The cigar factory is right there, and this is where the tour gets tactile. You watch someone roll a cigar by hand, and if you want, you roll one yourself. It takes longer than you'd think and comes out slightly wonky, but it's yours. The Amber Museum comes next—a cave-themed room where you see Dominican amber with insects trapped inside, some of them millions of years old.
