Parasailing in Punta Cana: 10-minute flight from your hotel beach
Strap in and rise above the Bavaro coast to see the reef and hotels from the air
Parasailing in Punta Cana is a 10-minute flight towed behind a speedboat along the coastline, where you're lifted into the air under a parachute to see turquoise water, golden beaches and coral reefs from above. Takeoff happens right from your hotel beach. A professional guide handles the setup and ensures your safety throughout. Hotel pickup is included, and guides speak English, Spanish and French.

The experience
The boat leaves from your hotel beach in the Bavaro area, so there's no drive to a separate dock. Once you're strapped into the parachute harness, the speedboat accelerates and pulls you skyward: the flight itself runs about 10 minutes, long enough to see the full sweep of coastline from Bavaro through Punta Cana, Juanillo and Cacana. The water below is clear enough that you can spot the coral reef and its natural blues and greens. The hotels and palm-lined beaches spread out in both directions.
A professional guide manages the entire operation and stays with you from setup through landing. The operator offers three booking zones (the main Punta Cana area, Uvero Alto, or Cap Cana), so you pick the one closest to where you're staying. Children from age 5 are welcome, and the activity suits all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or if you're pregnant.
