The experience

The Rodman 38 is built for the kind of cruising where you see everything from both the flybridge and the lower helm without losing sight of the water. Your captain plots the route along the Akamas Coastline, stopping where the guidebooks don't reach: Aphrodite Rocks, Takas Bay, St Georges Island, and the string of bays that open only to boats. Blue Lagoon is the famous one, but Manolis Bay and its sea caves are the places most visitors miss because they can't get there by car.

The boat sleeps four in two cabins and two more in the convertible saloon seating, so families and small groups travel together without splitting across multiple bookings. Snorkeling gear and towels come with you. Bottled water and a seasonal fresh fruit platter are on board. The captain speaks English, French, German, Greek, Russian or Romanian depending on who you book with, and the pace is yours. You're not following a schedule of other boats or a timetable that cuts the afternoon short.

The 2-hour option gives you the bays closest to the departure point; the 4-hour cruise reaches deeper into the Akamas; the full 6-hour day covers all of it. Fuel is included no matter which length you choose. Lunch can be arranged for an extra charge if you want to stay longer and eat on the water.

Yes. Mask and snorkeling equipment are included with your booking, and the captain will anchor in the bays where the water is clear enough to use them. Manolis Caves and several other stops are set up for snorkeling.

How many people can fit on the Rodman 38?

The boat accommodates up to six passengers. Two cabins hold four people permanently, and the saloon seating converts to another double berth, so you can sleep six aboard or day-cruise with a larger group if needed.
