The experience

You start in Omodos and climb through changing terrain to Platres at 800 meters elevation: the 9km ride shows you why the southern slopes of Mount Troodos shift so fast between villages and forest. From Platres, the route turns downhill for 5km through pine forest to Pera Pedi, a village surrounded by green that sits beside the Pera Pedi Dam. The guide will divert about 1km to Milomeris Waterfall, where water drops 15 meters (one of the island's highest natural falls), and to Milia Medieval Bridge, a quiet stone crossing that once connected the two villages and still carries only birdsong and river sound.

The final 10km brings you back to Omodos through the main square of Pera Pedi, where you can rest before the last stretch. You ride an e-bike with a helmet, lock, pump and spare tube. Bottled water is provided. The whole loop takes about 3 hours. A live English-speaking guide leads the group, and the terrain suits all fitness levels, though the route is not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular conditions that limit exertion.

What’s included

  • Use of e-bike with helmet, bike lock, mini pump, multitool and spare tube.
  • bottled water.

Top questions

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (6 to 16 years). Under 6: they can't be included in the booking.

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

How steep is the downhill from Platres to Pera Pedi?

The descent covers 5km over terrain that drops from 800 meters elevation, so it is a sustained downhill ride through forest. The e-bike assists on climbs, making the return to Omodos manageable even after the descent.

What is Milomeris Waterfall like when you get there?

Milomeris Waterfall drops 15 meters and is one of the highest natural waterfalls on Cyprus. The 1km detour from the main route takes you to a quiet spot where the water is the main sound. The location was not easily accessible until recently, so it stays less crowded than roadside attractions.

Do I need to bring my own helmet and gloves?

The tour provides a helmet, bike lock, pump and spare tube. Gloves and waterproof clothing are not included, so bring your own if you want them: the route passes through forest and near water, and weather in the mountains can shift quickly.

Where does the tour start and end?

The circular route starts and ends in Omodos, a village northwest of Limassol. Public transportation options are available nearby if you need to reach the starting point from the city.
