Discover SCUBA Diving is a four-hour beginner experience in Cyprus where you learn dive theory, get fitted to equipment, and complete your first underwater dive with a PADI-certified guide. The session covers safety basics and hands-on skills in the water before you explore one of Pissouri Bay's dive sites for up to an hour. Pickup is included, and the guide speaks English, French, Polish, Hungarian and one additional language.

The experience

What does it feel like to breathe underwater? The Discover SCUBA Diving experience answers that question in four hours. You start on land with paperwork and an introduction to dive theory: how to act in the water, what to expect, how to stay safe. Then comes the equipment: the guide walks you through the SCUBA gear, explains how each piece works, and gets you comfortable wearing it before you ever enter the water.

Once you're in the sea, you cover basic skills and safety procedures in shallow water before moving to one of Pissouri Bay's dive sites. You'll spend up to an hour underwater exploring the marine life and reef in their natural habitat. The weightlessness, the alien environment, the diversity of aquatic life. These are things most people never experience, and this dive makes them possible in a single morning.

Pickup is included, so you don't arrange transport. A PADI-certified professional guide leads the whole session and speaks your language. All SCUBA equipment and snorkelling gear are provided. Bottled water is on hand throughout the day. The operator emphasizes safety and marine conservation, treating every diver as part of the Pissouri Bay Divers family rather than a transaction.
