A 2-tank guided diving activity at Eastpoint, Curaçao, where certified divers descend at remote reef sites accessible only by boat. Groups stay at four divers per divemaster for personalized guidance. The chartered catamaran includes lunch, snacks, drinks and shaded seating for the full day on the water. Divers who haven't dived in over 12 months need a refresher before departure.

The experience

The catamaran leaves with your group and a divemaster who stays with you both dives. Eastpoint stretches about 6 miles and holds healthy coral, clear water and abundant marine life: sites you cannot reach by shore diving. You'll complete two guided dives at different spots in this remote reef system, with your divemaster pointing out highlights and managing the pace underwater. The boat itself is new, with a restroom on board, plenty of shade and room to move between dives.

Small groups mean four divers maximum per guide, so you get personalized attention instead of being one of a crowd. The charter does carry other dive companies' groups, but each one has its own divemaster and operates independently. You'll spend roughly six hours on the water, with the day fully catered: lunch, snacks, bottled water and soda are included, so you're not managing food or thirst between dives.

Certified divers only. If your last dive was more than 12 months ago, you'll need a refresher course before you go. Children from age 10 can join if certified. Rental gear is optional at checkout. Bring your own or add it to your booking. Pickup is included, and the guide speaks English or Dutch.
