You board a speedboat in Zadar and visit three island stops — Blue Bay for snorkeling, a skipper-chosen hidden spot that changes with the weather, and Preko town for swimming or rest. One free drink (water, iced tea, or cocktail) is included, plus snorkeling gear and a life vest. You choose how much you swim and how much you relax at each stop, and the boat returns you to Zadar by mid-afternoon.
The speedboat idles at the Zadar waterfront, engine running, skipper checking the weather forecast on his phone. You arrive 5–10 minutes early as instructed, ticket in hand, and the manager greets you by the marked spot on the dock. Around you are maybe a dozen other people — couples, a family with teenagers, a few solo travelers — all waiting for the same departure. The boat is smaller than you expected, which means the ride will feel faster and the stops more intimate. Water and iced tea are unlimited once you're aboard; if you want a cocktail instead of either, that's your one complimentary drink for the day.
The first real stop is Blue Bay on Ugljan island, a hidden cove with water so clear you can see the seabed from the surface. The skipper cuts the engine and anchors. Most people jump in with the full-face snorkeling mask they've handed you, but nobody forces it — you can stay on the boat under the awning with a cold drink and music playing, watching the swimmers below. The bay is small enough that you're never far from the boat, and the water is warm. After maybe 45 minutes, the skipper pulls anchor and heads to the second stop, which changes depending on the day's weather, wind and how crowded other spots are. It might be a fishing village tucked into an island, or another secluded bay. The skipper knows the coast well enough to pick the best option in real time, not from a fixed itinerary.
Preko, the last stop, is a small town on Ugljan with a sandy beach, shops, and cafes. If you're tired of swimming by now, you sit down with coffee or a beer and watch the water. If you're not, there's a 50-meter swim to the island of Galevac, which you can walk and explore — more snorkeling if you want it. The whole day is built around choice: you decide how active you are, and the boat accommodates that. The return to Zadar takes a couple of hours total, and you're back on dry land by early afternoon.
Your day includes one complimentary drink per person (water, iced tea, or cocktail), a premium full-face snorkeling mask, life vest, skipper and tour guide, swimming and snorkeling at Blue Bay on Ugljan island, a skipper-chosen hidden stop that changes based on weather and sea conditions, free time in Preko town with a sandy beach and the option to swim to nearby Galevac island, and music on board throughout.
