The experience
You board the ship Kristina in Fazana and spend roughly an hour cruising the Brijuni archipelago (all 14 islands visible from the water), while the crew brings cold drinks to your seat. The boat stops only at St. Jerolim Island, part of Brijuni National Park, where you can stay between 2 and 4 hours depending on which departure time you booked (the 12:30 departure, for example, limits your island time to about 2 hours). The island entrance fee is separate: €5 for adults, €3 for children 7–18, free for children 6 and under.
St. Jerolim itself is small and undeveloped: no crowds, no resorts. The water is clear enough to snorkel without a guide, and fish move through the shallows. If you don't want to enter the water, you can walk to the monastery ruins for views across the park, or sit at the beach bar and order lunch. The last boat back leaves around 16:00, so the island time is finite but yours to spend as you choose.
The tour runs 5 hours total from start to finish. A live guide narrates in English, German or Croatian, so you hear the history and ecology of the park as you move between islands. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel. The boat has no changing facilities.

Is this one for you?Choose an earlier departure time if you want 3–4 hours on St. Jerolim for unhurried snorkeling and island exploration. The 12:30 boat limits your island stay to about 2 hours, which still allows snorkeling but leaves less time to linger.
