The experience
The flight departs from Brač Airport and immediately heads toward Zlatni Rat, the famous crescent beach near Bol on Brač's southern coast. From there the route crosses to Hvar, passing over Vrboska and the towns of Jelsa and Starigrad before reaching the island's main town. Along the way, Tvrdalj castle (the 16th-century summer residence of the poet Petar Hektorović, complete with a sea-water fishpool and tower) comes into view from above. The guide points out the observatory above Hvar town, used for both tourism and scientific research.
After Hvar, the flight crosses the Hvar Channel toward Šolta, where the landscape shifts dramatically: the southern side drops in sheer cliffs straight into the sea, while the north side shelters old fishing villages tucked into bays, Stomorska among them. The route then sweeps over Split city before turning back across the Brač Channel toward Supetar, Brač's administrative center, where the flight ends. Bottled water is provided. The guide speaks English or Croatian depending on the group.
