The Experience

You're picked up and heading out on the water within hours—no car rental, no navigation, no figuring out which island to visit first. The speedboat cuts across to Zečevo islet in 10 to 15 minutes, a protected, unpopulated speck in the Hvar archipelago where the water runs clear enough to see the seabed. Snorkeling gear is already on board, so you drop in and spend as long as you want there. A beach bar sits on the islet if you'd rather stay dry and watch the water instead.

After Zečevo, the boat heads to Vrboska on Hvar island—a narrow fjord-like bay running through the middle of the village, with bridges connecting the two sides so tightly that locals call it Little Venice. You have time to walk the small streets, grab lunch (your crew can point you to a spot), and sit in the quiet before the afternoon leg. Jelsa, an ancient town further along Hvar's coast, comes next, with free time for coffee or a wander through its historical streets. The final stop is Mala Stiniva bay, where vertical stone cliffs drop straight into the sea and the water stays so clear that cliff jumping is a real option if you're game for it.

The whole day runs 8 to 9 hours, but the crew adjusts how long you spend at each place—if Zečevo is your thing and you want to skip Jelsa, that works. If you'd rather spend the afternoon in Vrboska, they'll rearrange the timing. Life jackets, snorkeling equipment, bottled water and insurance all come with the tour; you bring only yourself and a willingness to move between islands.
