The experience
You drive a two-seater or four-seater Can-Am buggy through Korcula's backroads, ancient olive groves and terraced vineyards on a route built around two completely different beaches. Vela Przina near Lumbarda has sandy shores. Peyton cove near Dominče is a quiet rocky inlet. The buggies handle the unpaved terrain, so you reach places the main roads don't touch.
The route passes through the vineyards of Lumbarda, where Grk (a white wine grape found nowhere else on earth) grows on steep terraced slopes. At Adria Winery, the tasting covers local wines, liqueurs, honey, jams and olive oil, all produced on the island. This is not a sit-down meal. It's a generous sampling of what the region makes. A guide leads the group in English throughout the four hours.
Pickup happens within 5 km of Korcula town and drop-off is included at the end. If you want to stay longer at Peyton Beach after the winery stop, the team can arrange a taxi back to town on request, or you can take a water taxi nearby. Bring water, sun protection and beachware. The activity suits all fitness levels but is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with cardiovascular concerns.
