Half-day private ATV riding in Dalmatia where you operate your own quad through vineyards, rivers, mountains and historic sites, guided by a live English or Croatian speaker. The tour includes pickup, helmets, lunch, drinks and access to Kravica Waterfall, Skywalk Biokovo and the Vrgorac strawberry region. Children from age 12 are welcome. All fitness levels suit the terrain.

The experience

You ride your own quad (not as a passenger, but as the operator) through inland Dalmatia's mix of vineyard routes, mountain passes and river valleys. The guide leads the way and stays ready to help with anything, so the experience works for first-time riders and experienced ones alike. The terrain itself is the draw: you'll navigate offroad paths that connect the region's working landscape, not a manicured circuit.

Kravica Waterfall is the centerpiece: a 28-meter drop carved by the Trebižat river into a natural amphitheatre 120 meters wide, and a real swimming spot in summer. The route also passes through the largest vineyard in Croatia and the Vrgorac strawberry region, where the fruit is famous enough to name the place. You'll see the oldest mine in this part of Europe and climb to Skywalk Biokovo for the views. The guide speaks English or Croatian and knows the stops well enough to explain what you're riding through, not just where to turn.

Lunch, bottled water, soda and a choice of alcoholic drinks come with the ride. Helmets and the quad itself are provided. Pickup is included, so you don't arrange transport to the starting point. The half-day format, six hours total, leaves the afternoon free if you're staying in the region.
